Galloping Video films video at the major reined cowhorse and cutting horse shows for resale to the contestants. They sell the DVD's via the custom-programmed shopping cart on their web site. Their administrative interface allows them to regularly update key pages throughout their web site, as well as prepare live web casts for each show.

Galloping video has several pages on their web site that require regular company-managed updates. Rather than install a full blown CMS which would still not meet their specific needs, CreateSource developed a custom CMS allowing them to update the news, gallery, and other pages of their web site.

Ordering video for this industry is not managed by simple item code and picture. There are specific classes for each show, and there are often full show sets of variable length as well as different pricing structures for how the videos are ordered. CreateSource has built an administrative interface custom tailored to the specific needs of Galloping Video. Through this interface, they can customize the parameters of each product offering, as well as deploy simple video publications as well.

Additionally, Galloping Video can upload new video to be displayed via the custom Flash video player on their main page. They upload the video and an XML file is modified. When the main page loads, the XML file is read by the Flash and externally loads the video on demand. This keeps the main page lightweight and quick loading, and allows fairly large video to be streamed on request. The video player at the right was custom designed for Galloping Video.
