Auto Body Hand Tools is a sole proprietor business that offers small hand tools and manuals via the Internet. In 2007 CreateSource converted their home-made shopping cart to a mysql-based cart, speeding performance and making customer maintenance and order placement quick and easy.

CreateSource custom programmed the shopping cart and administrative area with intuitive, easy to use interfaces. Product display and product detail are set with an easy to edit text file template. The shopping cart's administrative area allows multiple shipping options, ranging from per-item shipping to per-dollar shipping, or connection with the USPS or UPS API's for a real time shipping amount. The customer can select from any available shipping service. Checkout is completed by a secure connection to a reliable merchant account via silent post; customers are never redirected to another site during checkout.

Auto Body Hand Tool's custom administrative interface allows the company to:

• Easily locate, fulfill, and update current orders
• Robust email notifications on order placement; prepares email notification of shipment with a single button
• Perform inventory control, adjustments, and collect reports
• Create shipping labels with a single click
• Perform and download regular database backups
• Configure key phrases, titles, and other settings for the shopping cart and ordering process
• Upload unlimited pictures for each product, determine their display order, and maintain product data without developer assistance
• Add unlimited product options for any product, and the options may be required, optional, and can optionally alter the product price.
