Rates
- Current web development and related technology rates, including phone or on-site consultation, is $75 per hour with a fifteen minute minimum, with the following exceptions.
- Layout and print-related mechanicals: $40 per hour.
- Ad Layouts: $25 per ad as specified in our Ad Upload Service, with additional alterations and changes at $40 per hour.
Proposals and Projects
- Projects are initiated by the automated Request a Quote system (currently under development, 09-08) located in the customer control panel on this web site. Even if you are not considering a project, it is recommended that you create a customer account, as some of our portfolio items are restricted to CreateSource customers only. Your information is secure and CreateSource will never email spam in accordance with our privacy policy.
- Once the client's request for a quote has been submitted, CreateSource will prepare a proposal in Adobe PDF format, which will be emailed to the client and will also be available for download or view from the customer control panel. If the proposal is accepted, the client is required to print and sign one copy and mail it to CreateSource at the mailing address listed on this web site.
- Once CreateSource has received the signed proposal, a formal agreement will be prepared by CreateSource and emailed to the client, and will also appear in the customer control panel. This agreement will outline the specifics of the project, how it is to proceed, and set milestones and timeline for completion of the milestones and overall project. The content of the agreement is designed to protect both the client and CreateSource.
- If the agreement is accepted, the client is required to print and sign one copy and mail it to CreateSource at the mailing address listed on this web site with a check, payPal deposit, or other valid monetary transfer in the amount of 50% of the total project estimate.
- Once CreateSource receives the agreement and funds, we will commence work on the project. The client can check the project's status at any time from the links in the customer control panel.
- Project Creep and Modifications: It is common for the direction of a project to change in mid-stream, deviating from the outlines in the original agreement. If this occurs on a client project, CreateSource will either a) create a new proposal for additions to the original project if the new information is only added to the project, or b) stop all development on the original project and submit a new proposal to the client. The agreement will be revised to reflect the new direction of the project.
- Termination: Although we have never terminated a project in mid-stream, should this occur CreateSource will provide the client with an invoice of total hours worked up to the point of termination. Should the original deposit exceed hours worked, CreateSource will refund the difference to the client; should the total hours worked exceed the original deposit, the client is bound by the agreement to pay the balance 30 days net.
CreateSource reserves the right to change this policy at any time without notice; it is in your best interest to revisit this page often to remain apprised of any alterations to the policies set forth on this page.
